Millennium Place Doha is a 5-star modern hotel with stylish accommodations, exceptional dining options, and various amenities.
A mid-range to higher-end option in the city, I had the pleasure of spending a few nights at Millennium Place on my quest to review several hotels in Doha to help travelers decide where to stay when visiting Doha.
In this hotel review, I’ll discuss the property’s aspects and tell you whether it’s worth booking a stay.

Checking Into the Hotel
Checking into Millennium Place Doha was a breeze and set the tone for an enjoyable stay.
The moment I arrived, the staff greeted me warmly, making me feel instantly welcomed. It was clear that they were awaiting my arrival.
The check-in process was impressively quick and efficient. I signed some paperwork on an iPad and had my key card in hand within minutes. The front desk team gave me a brief rundown of the hotel’s amenities and services while escorting me to my room.

Let’s Take A Virtual Tour of the Hotel
The Lobby
Walking into the hotel lobby, the bright lights and furnishings gave a great first impression of how clean and comfortable the property strives to be.
There is plenty of seating in the lobby area, including two full couch areas in the corners on opposite ends of the lobby, which guests can use for a more private space if they desire.

Aside from the decor, the lobby also includes a dessert and coffee bar, making it easy to grab a sweet treat or load up on some caffeine before starting the day.

The room was clean and prepped when I entered.
The treats waiting for me on the table with a handwritten note (one of my favorite touches in hotel rooms) were a beautiful, personalized touch I appreciated.
The Executive Suite is pricey, running at a rate of QAR 2000 ($550)/night, but it is a great size and very well worth it, especially if you want to book with 3-4 friends and split the cost.

Amenities in the Hotel
Rooftop Pool
One of the hotel’s greatest amenities is the rooftop pool.
It’s a great way to start the morning with an early swim or end the day catching the sunset with a cocktail from Mario E Mario, the Italian restaurant right next to the pool.
![Christina Jane in the rooftop pool.](https://www.beingchristinajane.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/02/millennium-place-doha-rooftop-pool-edited-1.jpg)
When I visited the hotel during Doha’s winter season, I loved that the pool was heated and designed with separate sections.
One thing I will say that can be a bit uncomfortable is that the pool is located right next to the Italian restaurant, which could possibly attract unwanted attention depending on who is dining near the glass window with a direct view of the pool.
Thankfully, many places in Doha are completely empty or rarely filled unless it’s a tourist spot, so I didn’t have this issue, but it is something to consider.

![Pool](https://www.beingchristinajane.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/02/rooftop-pool-doha-scaled.jpg)
Fitness Gym
The hotel’s gym was a lot more spacious than I expected it to be.
Fully equipped with free weights, cardio machines, and weight machines, it allows guests to relax while keeping up with their workouts.
![Fitness Gym](https://www.beingchristinajane.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/02/millennium-place-doha-gym-2-scaled.jpg)
![Cardio Machines](https://www.beingchristinajane.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/02/hotel-gym-doha-scaled.jpg)
Indoor Pool
My favorite amenity at Millennium Place Doha was the indoor pool.
Enclosed right next door to the gym, the hotel’s indoor pool features a swimming pool with a stunning backdrop, a spacious heated jacuzzi center front, and lounge chairs surrounding the pool.
I had the pool to myself both times I visited during my two-day stay, and it was such a serene experience.
![Christina Jane at indoor pool](https://www.beingchristinajane.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/02/infoor-pool-millennium-place-1-scaled.jpg)
Abbyt Spa
The hotel has a spa called Abbyt Spa, where guests can book wellness services.
Though the spa was closed the times I visited, but if you want to book a massage or another service, the contact information and spa menu are available.
Restaurants at Millennium Place Doha
Mario e Mario
Mario e Mario is the Italian rooftop restaurant at Millennium Place Doha and the restaurant I liked the most.
Exuding the same family-friendly feel as many Italian restaurants I’ve visited, this restaurant was welcoming and inviting, from the staff to the decor and overall layout.

Natural sunlight streams in, enhancing its warm summertime hues and creating a beautiful atmosphere for lunch or dinner.
As part of the restaurant’s set business lunch menu, I selected an appetizer, main course, and dessert.
Meal Ticket:
- Appetizer: INSALATA DI BARBABIETOLE E FORMAGGIO DI CAPRA
- Main Course: PIZZA AI QUATTRO FORMAGGI
- Dessert: PANNA COTTA

![Panna Cotta](https://www.beingchristinajane.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/02/panancota-3-scaled.jpg)
The restaurant also provided this delicious, well-seasoned garlic bread before the appetizer came out, which I enjoyed.
The business lunch is on weekdays and costs QAR 89. It allows you to select your choice of Antipasti, primi, and dolci from the menu.

Tawlet Yvonne
Tawlet Yvonne is Millennium Place Doha’s Lebanese restaurant, serving home-cooked Lebanese meals. As someone who has never indulged in much Lebanese food, I enjoyed sampling some dishes and being transcended into the world of Lebanon through various dishes.
The restaurant is also where you can enjoy a hookah round if you’re up for it!

The low lights, pool table, and cozy seating provide a relaxed experience and a great way to end the night.

Here are a few things to do that are close to the hotel:

How was the service?
The staff at Millennium Place Doha was amazing and really made for a great stay. From the servers at Mario e Mario helping me get beautiful shots, to the concierge and management always being available to answer any questions, I thoroughly enjoyed my interactions with the team.
While the service was incredible, I will say that in full transparency, it was quite obvious that the entire staff across the hotel was informed that I would be doing a review.
The customer service industry in Doha in general is always top-notch so I am confident that if you book a stay with the hotel, you won’t have any issues with customer service and will be treated like a valued guest.

How safe is the hotel?
From the moment I stepped in, I noticed the secure atmosphere. The staff was always attentive, keeping an eye on who was coming in and out of the hotel and its various amenities, and I felt very safe during my time there.
Here are a few safety aspects incorporated into the hotel that are worth sharing:
Security Guards + Bags Scanned
Upon arrival, a security guard at the hotel ensures that all guests place their bags through a scanner. This added layer of security made me feel more confident, knowing that all luggage was screened before check-in, creating a safer environment for everyone.
Room Key Card Elevator Access
A key card is needed to go between floors at the hotel. This always makes me feel even more secure, knowing that people visiting the hotel for lunch or an event can’t just wander onto any floor.
Chain Lock on Room Door
Another feature I noticed was chain locks on the hotel room door from the inside. I like that I could use the peephole and chain locks to see who was at my room door before having to open the door.
![](https://www.beingchristinajane.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/02/millennium-place-doha-hotel-review-1.jpg)
Checking Out of the Hotel
Checking out was easy, as I returned the key card to the front desk and was on my way.
I had to leave my baggage at the front desk and return later to pick it up, which was a simple and secure process.
The staff provided me with a ticket to redeem my luggage with the concierge when I was ready, which gave me peace of mind knowing my belongings were safely stored. It’s great to have this option, especially for guests who have time to explore before heading to the airport.
Would I Stay Here Again?
Yes!! Millennium Place Doha is Christina Jane approved.
From the moment I arrived, the warm hospitality and modern, comfortable suite made me feel right at home.
The staff was incredibly attentive and always ready to help with anything I needed. The hotel’s central location made it easy to get from Point A to B using Uber, and the dining options were excellent, especially at Mario e Mario.
It was an enjoyable experience, and I can’t wait to return!
